voicthread
At first I had to make a PowerPoint about our global Issues, mine was about Biodiversity and Ecosystem Losses. I first made a plan. I chose what i am going to write on my powerpont. I was instructed to write at least 5-6 words on each slide it was my instructions. I wrote down what type of pictures I need instead of exactly choosing them. After that I began making my Powerpoint I had a few changes in PowerPoint instead of following my plan. I planned to make these changes because it seemed to improve my PowerPoint. So far, my PowerPoint had pictures, words and it was very decorative with collage of the problem and solution, which made it more interesting. Instead of putting lots of wordes into sentences. I made short comments on each slide because many people don't like reading. I tried to make mine less boring and more interesting so it catches peoples attention. After I edited my work and checked if there is anything else i should add. I started on my speech, i figured out what I could say. I had a little trouble to know what to say. I used some of my parts I wrote on my EtherPad to help my speech. Then, I made a Voice Thread account. This is a software were you can upload your video then record your voice into it. Then, it turns it into a video. I made an account, uploaded my video. I had a problem uploading it on my laptop, while i uploaded it at home it would say "failed to upload." I came to school and did on there desktops, and then it worked. Once i uploaded it, I checked all the functions of Voice-thread. I found the record button and recorded the problem was I didn't memorize my lines. Instead, it was on a Microsoft Word document. I didn't know what to do. So I restored down the microsoft document and fixed it in a size where i was able to read from width and length. So i opened the voicethread and cliked recdord, then i quickly opened the Microsoft document and began reading once i was done recording my first slide i stopped. Then i moved on to the next slide and scrolled down the Microsoft document to read the next part. I kept doing that to all the slides i uploaded. Finally, I listened to my video. There was another problem, the enging part cut off a bit in my recording. So i did the slide i needed to fix again, but this time while i was recording it I left out a liitle space at the end without saying anything. I did the same to all my other slides that needed to be fixed. Finally I was done. This is my Voice-Thread evaluation.
